And I’m well aware that most podcasters don’t have a budget for a full production team.

That’s why I started MLC Greenroom.

In broadcasting, the greenroom is the warm, comfortable space behind the scenes where hosts, guests, and creators gather to chat, prep, and refine their ideas before going live.

I built this space to give podcasters and creators that exact same feeling online. It’s a space to connect, to brainstorm, to talk through ideas, to strategise, to refine, to build, to gain clarity, and to build real relationships with other podcasters who get it.

Kia ora, I’m Maxene! 👋

I’m a podcast strategist, producer, and the founder of Maxene London Creative.

My background in radio, content marketing and podcasting taught me one major lesson early on: great shows aren't built on guesswork. They're built on intentional strategy, great sound, and the right support system.

Over the years, I’ve worked behind the mic and behind the scenes with podcasters and business owners across New Zealand. I’ve worked with clients from household names with huge production value and budget, to small business owners with a cheap mic and an office set-up.

I’ve seen firsthand how overwhelming it can be to manage recording, editing, guest booking, marketing, and monetisation all on your own.

I created the MLC Greenroom to make high-level podcast strategy accessible without the heavy price tag of full-service agency retainers. I’m in the Slack workspace every week answering your technical questions, auditing your show assets, and hosting our monthly live Hot Seats to make sure your podcast gets the reach, authority, and audience it deserves.
